Once you download the app, the next step is to create a group and simply add Members from your address book. They receive a SMS notification with the link to download the app, after which they can create their account and are automatically connected to your group!

Thats all you need to stay connected!

Once they join you can see their location & periodic movement on your Group Map and on their Individual Map. All Members have the permission to Hide their location/Reveal their location/Exit a Group or Block further invitations.

As a default setting we capture location information every 15 minutes and retain it for 24 hours. If you want, you can get additional information for a charge.
You can create multiple groups (as Admin) or join multiple groups (as Member).

SpotU gives you the option to create two types of groups.
1. A Location Group- simply lets you add Members and view their location and movement. Easy as that! So you can create a group for your family and another one for your friends or work-colleagues so that you can see each others location and movement.
• Family Groups- Create a group and add your spouse, kids, parents, cousins or members of the extended family. Everyone will be able to see each others location and movement. What a great way to stay connected.
• Friends Groups- It’s always great to catch-up with friends. Once you know where they are, just call them and make a plan to meet at a close-by place.
• Work- If you are a manager with a sales team and are concerned if your team is in the right place at the right time; and is making the calls they are supposed to, SpotU gives you great control and helps you increase productivity of your organization.
• Deliveries- If your work is about ensuring safe and timely delivery of goods, SpotU is just for you. Just create a group and track the movement of the goods. You can even confirm approximate delivery time based on Movement Maps.
2. Range Group- This type of group lets you define a point on the map and sets a range circle around it. Every time any of the members of your group enters the range circle, you receive a notification.
• Family Groups- Imagine if you set a 500 meters range around "Home", you get a notification telling you "Your child (Name) is home" when your child enters the 500 meters circle. A great way to keep your mind at peace knowing your loved ones are back home safe.
• Friends Groups- Make a friends circle around a popular hang-out area so that each time any of your friends move into this area everyone in the group gets a notification. You can then connect and catch up for an impromptu meal or drink. No more calling your friends and asking "Where Are You?
• Work- You can set a circle around the office or any other significant point. And be notified each time your members enter the circle. Great for productivity.
